Flagstaff Figure Skating club is a non-profit organization dedicated to the sport of figure skating and the youth of Flagstaff. The Club has skaters of all ages and abilities. Skaters pay a yearly registration fee that includes membership to United States Figure Skating Association and monthly ice fees to pay for the facility. Coaching fees are additional and vary. Members are eligible to compete, test, and perform in shows.

K.I.K.S.
American Karate

K.I.K.S. Karate is an Americanized system of Martial Arts and fitness training. Their teaching methods are used to achieve a wide range of goals, from basic levels of increased fitness to self-defense techniques that are used to tap into your physical potential.

Vertical Relief Climbing Center opened its doors in September of 1995. Since then they have offered the most experienced climbing staff of any shop in town and the finest rock climbing service in Flagstaff.

Their indoor climbing facility boasts 40 foot walls at all levels of difficulties and a complete pro-shop stocked with climbing essentials.

Vertical Relief's Climbing School instructs classes inside as well as at several popular climbing areas around Flagstaff.

The High Altitude Sports Training Center
At Northern Arizona University

It is well known that training at higher altitudes can bring out a better performance in an athlete. To this end NAU has created The High Altitude Sports Training Center.

The Center hosts international competitions in the Lumberjack Stadium to highlight these athletes. Track events include 100m, 200m, 400m, along with 100mH, 110mH, and 400mH and a Heptathlon. Field events include pole vault, high jump, long jump and triple jump, discus, javelin, shot put and hammer.

Athletes ranked in the top 20 nationally in track events and in the top ten in field events from Canada, USA and NACAC are invited to compete in these meets.

Contact the HASTC office for updates regarding the meet schedules and for details on athlete registration. The public is welcome to share in this extraordinary opportunity to see world class athletes compete. Meet admission is free.
