Local writers: Sharon Auberle, and Jean Rukkila. At Café Espress, 16 N. San Francisco St., Free Admission

Thur. March 29, 7:00pm - 11pm
Poetry Slam: A one hour open mic, followed by a featured performance from hip-hop legend Jerry Quickley, then a  Flagstaff Grand Slam Semi-Final.  The slam is open to all poets who wish to participate, have three original poems, and pay the $5 entry fee.  Audience admission is free.
At The Alley, 22 E. Route 66.

.  Author of several children’s journal books, Linda Kranz; and author of Clarence Goes Out West and Meets a Purple Horse,  Jean Ekman Adams.  Also, a discussion on questions pertaining to the world of children’s publishing. At Flagstaff Public Library.  Free admission.
