Bitsui is Navajo, from Cottonwood Springs, Arizona.
He has studied creative writing at the Institute of American
Indian Arts in Santa Fe, and at the University of Arizona.
He has worked with Native American high school students, through
the Nizhoni Bridges In-Reach Project.
He is working on a book of poetry, which he hopes to finish
in 2001 |
