Sojourner, novelist (Sisters of the Dream), prize-winning fiction
and essay writer (Story, Nimrod, Sierra), columnist
for High Country News, and NPR national commentator, came to the
Southwest in 1985 to write and fight for what is left of the wild places
and people.
She continues to do both from her home in Flagstaff.
