Boyer Rickel is the author of a book of poems,
arreboles, and a collection of autobiographical essays,
Taboo. His poems have appeared most recently in The Ohio
Review, The Harvard Review, The Kenyon
Review, Puerto Del Sol, and Word of Mouth: An Anthology of Gay American
Poetry. He teaches poetry workshops and seminars in the University of Arizona Creative Writing Program, where he has served as assistant director since 1991. He was a 2001 NEA poetry fellow.
