Lee K. Abbott

Lee K. Abbott is the author of six collections of short stories, including Love is the Crooked Thing, Strangers in Paradise, and Wet Places at Noon. His work has appeared in The Georgia Review, Harper’s, The Atlantic, Gettysburg Review, Southern Review, and many others. His stories have won the National Magazine Award for fiction, the O’Henry Awards, Best American Short Stories awards, the St. Lawrence Award for Fiction, and the StoryQuarterly Award for Fiction. 
He has received two National Endowment for the Arts Fellowships in fiction, a Major Artist Fellowship from the Ohio Arts Council, and the award in fiction from the Columbus Council on the Arts. 

He has taught at Rice University, Case Western Reserve University, Washington University in St. Louis, the University of Michigan, and is now Professor of English at The Ohio State University in Columbus.
