Francisco Goldman

Francisco Goldman is the author of two novels: The Long Night of White Chickens won the Sue Kaufman Award for First Fiction from the American Academy of Arts and Letters and was a finalist for the PEN/Faulkner Award; The Ordinary Seaman was a finalist for the International IMPAC Dublin Fiction Prize, The Los Angeles Times Book Prize, a finalist for the PEN/Faulkner Award, and was named one of the “Best 100 American Books of the Century” by the Hungry Mind Review
Goldman’s work has appeared in many magazines, including The New Yorker, The New York Review of Books, and The New York Times Magazine, and he has two books forthcoming from Grove Press next year, including a third novel and a book on the Bishop Gerardi murder case. Goldman holds the Allan K. Smith Chair in Literature at Trinity College, Hartford, Connecticut, and he has been dividing his time between New York City and Mexico City.
