Special Events with Children's Authors
|

|
|
Children are invited to the Museum of Northern Arizona on Saturday,
April 17th to meet authors and listen to their stories. Each author has engaging hands-on activities. On
Sunday, April 18th, families are invited to the Orpheum for readings by prominent children’s authors
Byrd Baylor and
Pat Mora.

Back by popular demand, the 2004 Festival will feature its third music and poetry performance on the main stage at
Charly’s, Saturday, April 17, from 4 – 6 p.m.
Arizona Blues Hall of famer S.E. (Steve) Willis will be joined by his brother, bassist John Willis, San Francisco drummer, Mike Messer and San Diego
guitarist, Johnny Vernaza in a blues and poetry jam with NAU poet, Jim
Simmerman, fiction writer, Ann Cummins, Mesa poet, James Cervantes, and guests.
