Nancy Bo Flood is a woman whose interests have focused on children and stories. Her work as an author, parent, and a child psychologist has allowed her to listen to many stories which she hopes to share. She has taught about human development and creative writing at community colleges in both Colorado and Saipan, an island nation in the western Pacific. She has also conducted workshops on child abuse and neglect, learning disabilities, and play therapy.

Under her author name, Bo Flood, she has written books for children about the subjects that impassion her: world hunger, imprisonment, Pacific cultures, traditional legends, and a counseling handbook for therapists. Examples of her children’s titles include I’ll Go to School If and From the Mouth of the Monster Eel: Stories from Micronesia.
