Mary Sojourner is the author of the 2004 memoir Solace: Rituals of Loss and Desire; essay collection Bonelight: Ruin and Grace in the New Southwest; short story collection Delicate; and the novel Sister of the Dream. She is an NPR commentator and activist living in Flagstaff, Ariz., fine-tuning her second novel, Going Through Ghosts, in a cabin with just enough space to do what matters.
